So many things have been happening- from birthday celebrations, to my cherished book club dinner with the ladies, to organizing our community Christmas Tea for our church, orders, rugs, wool, patterns, felting - you name it. Did I also mention decorating and visiting family??
Have you read The Personal Librarian? That was our book this month and it was a great read.
First I would like to tell you that the Get Hooked at Sea 5 teacher for the sail in 2023 has been chosen. Beth (Parris House Wool Works) and I conducted some interviews and feel like we have chosen someone who will cross over to a number of interests. And the teacher is....
Rebecca Martin of storytellerwool.com.! She will be combining the techniques of hooking and punching in her instruction bringing interesting elements into her teaching. Rebecca is a seasoned sailor and is so excited to be joining us all on August 20-24, 2023. Rebecca has taught both online and in a variety of venues, but nothing like ours. We are thrilled to have her join us!

If you remember, Beth and I are the organizers of 207Creatives and host this sailing adventure each summer out of Rockland, Maine. We sail aboard the J&E Schooner Riggin around Penobscot Bay. We are pampered with delicious gourmet food and have nothing to concern ourselves with other than hooking and enjoying the wonderful sea air in Maine.
