Hooked rug pattern of a Labrador Retriever.

38 x 16 OR 44 x 22

All of my patterns are hand drawn on unbleached primitive linen with a generous 4 inch serged border.

She is holding a large stick with "welcome home" on it.

Labs love to carry things in their mouths- especially sticks!

saw one on my way to yoga who was carrying a stick as big as a small tree- she was so proud!

The joy that they exude makes my heart sing. Why not have one welcome you home with this rug pattern-

What a great way for you to arrive home and see this cozy rug greeting you- and maybe your own dog too! I hang mine over a door to welcome us into our home.

Floor? wall? table? whatever works for your home is where it should be placed.

Two sizes listed- one with a 3 inch border all the way around the rug if you want to make a larger piece, one without the border added.

We owned yellow labs in the past and that is what hangs above our door.

We now have a wonderful black lab, Gracie- she is a real character!

Make this rug your own- it is sure to bring a smile to your face and one to your guests as well.

I hand dye all of my wool in small batches in my Maine home kitchen. Each color is unique to my process. All hand dyes are different for different makers. The pots used, the water, the dyes and combination of dyes make for unique colors for each individual hand dyer.

"Wonderfully hand dyed colors. So pretty I almost don’t want to cut into them…but just sit and sigh at the softness of the wool and beautiful muted tones…. Fast Shipping and a very pleasant transaction!"
