All of my patterns are hand drawn on unbleached primitive linen with a generous 4 inch serged border.
 
I have a home on Songo Pond in the Western Mts of Maine. Every year there are a pair of loons.
I often see them rising out of the water and fluffing up their wing feathers .
Our property has abundant wild blueberries so I thought that would make a natural border for the pattern. 
 
You could make it a mat or a pillow.
