There are endless possibilities when color planning for this rug. The one pictured had a dark blue background with bold colored flowers - it went to a home that has tea parties and would be the feature at the party.
 
You could use colors that match your vintage teacups - or pretend that you have an assortment and choose a variety of colors- from the flowers to the teapot to the cups in the corners- anything goes here. It's fun to do something a little different from time to time don't you think?
 
A larger version of this would be fun in the kitchen or dining area. Use it on your table as a runner if you like the smaller version.
 
All of my patterns are hand drawn on unbleached primitive linen and have a 4 inch serged border to fit on your frame.
