I hooked this rug to celebrate the work that local farmers do to nourish us with fresh beautiful vegetables. I shop at my local farmers market, my daughter worked for a non profit farming/ education community , my husband is a gardener and my other daughter works on food justice issues. This seemed like a way to celebrate all that these people do to feed and nourish us.
